MEET MADELEINE BRISCOE, CFRE

Madeleine Briscoe, CFRE, is a nonprofit management and fundraising professional with eighteen years of experience with a wide variety of organizations. She has served on the leadership teams of nonprofits with a focus on youth, human services, the empowerment of women and girls, in higher education, and in the arts. Her passion lies primarily in serving small to midsize nonprofits with modest budgets and human resources, but with significant community impact. Her career has honed skill sets in annual giving, major and planned giving, campaign strategy and execution, fundraising events, and volunteer management. Madeleine has worked extensively with both governing and advisory boards, as well as with volunteers at every level of nonprofit organizations. She has substantial management and hiring experience, having led teams of fundraising professionals at several organizations.

 

Madeleine has a bachelor’s degree from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana, and became a Certified Fundraising Executive in 2014. She has been on the Board of the Greater New Orleans Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals since 2021, including terms as Vice President of Programs, Conference Chair, and Secretary. She also served on the Board of Council for the Advancement and Support of Education in Indiana. 

Madeleine resides in New Orleans with her daughter and is an active member of her community, serving on the PTO Board of Audubon Charter School and the Board of Krewe des Fleurs. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, creating art, and enjoying all that her city has to offer.
